Obituary: Hugh Francis Kline, Sr. (Porto Funeral Homes)

Hugh Francis Kline Sr., 82, of Wallingford, formerly of East Haven, beloved husband of 59 years to Josanne “Josie” Parisi Kline, passed away on February 13, 2026 at Masonicare Health Center. Beloved father of Hugh F. Kline Jr. of Wallingford, Steven G. (Christine) Kline of Shelton, James P. (Karen) Kline of Milford and Kathryn (Patrick) Gentle of Stamford. Hugh is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Brother of Thomas (Diane) Kline of Woodbury, NJ and the late Valerie and John Kline. Hugh was born in Trenton, NJ on June 28, 1943 son of the late Gilbert and Cathryn Boland Kline. A dedicated educator, Hugh spent his career shaping young minds as a science teacher at Wilbur Cross High School.

Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial SATURDAY morning, March 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in Our Lady of Pompeii Church.
