Obituary: Jack Cachucho, 101, Of Wallingford

Jack served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Jack, with his wife, owned and operated their own hairdressing salon until they retired.

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Jack Cachucho, 101, of Wallingford, loving husband of Hilda (Rodrigues) Cachucho for 72 years, passed away peacefully August 10, 2022 at his home with his wife by his side.

Jack was born in New Bedford on July 21, 1921, a son of the late Antonio and Angelina (Relva) Cachucho.

Jack served in the United States Army during World War II. Jack, with his wife, owned and operated their own hairdressing salon until they retired.

In addition to his wife, Hilda, he is survived by his brother, Mario Cachucho, of Ludlow MA, cousin and good friend, Laurinda Ramos and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Jack’s family is requesting donations be made in his name to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
