Obituary: Jefferey J. Swift, 40, Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Jefferey J. Swift, 40, of Wallingford, died unexpectedly on Monday, April 3, 2023.

Jefferey was born in Meriden, February 28, 1983. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping, and kayaking. He loved playing board games with his siblings and disc golf with his friends.

He is survived by his parents, James D. and Marjorie (Snow) Swift of Wallingford; his siblings, Tamara (Swift) Cardona and her husband Isaac of Wallingford, Cheri (Swift) Esposito and her husband Jarett of East Haven, and Jonathan Swift of Wallingford; his nieces and nephews, Catalina Armas, Landon Armas, Troy Esposito and Nico Esposito. He is predeceased by his special uncle and friend, Eric Swift.

Jeff’s family will receive relatives and friends in The Yalesville Funeral Home, 386 Main St. in the Yalesville section of Wallingford on Tuesday, April 11, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 6 p.m. Interment will be private.
