Obituary: Jeffrey Hurowitz, 39; Formerly Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Jeffrey Hurowitz, 39, of Clermont, FL, formerly of Wallingford, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at his home.

He was born at Yale New Haven Hospital on August 6, 1984, a son of Larry and Doreen Hurowitz.

Growing up Jeffrey enjoyed playing baseball, bowling, and gaming. He devoted his love to his cats Kitty, Misty, and Hank.

Jeffrey met the love of his life Cristina and moved to Florida after their engagement. He always could crack a joke to make you smile and welcomed you with a hug. Jeffrey is remembered as a loving and caring soul.

In addition to his parents, Jeffrey is survived by his siblings, Robert, Jennifer, Hillary, and Stephanie; his grandmother, Edith Kornblum; grandfather Bernard Hurowitz; his fiancé Cristina Lewis; his nephews Luke and Joanah; and niece Harper.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 1 p.m. at B'nai Jacob Memorial Park, Wintergreen Ave., New Haven. Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home.
