Obituary: Jessica Stevens, 24, of Wallingford

Always very outgoing, Jessica had a smile that would light up any room. She was raised in Wallingford where she was active in youth sports.

Jessica Stevens, 24, of Wallingford, was called to her eternal resting place on December 29, 2017. She was the beloved daughter of William Stevens and his fiancée Kathryn Gerace of Wallingford and Tania Peltier-Buckmiller and her husband James Buckmiller of Branford.

Jessica entered this world on August 5, 1993 in New Haven, CT. She was raised in Wallingford where she was active in youth sports and played softball in her younger years. She attended Lyman Hall High School. Always very outgoing, Jessica had a smile that would light up any room. She was a close friend to many and considered her friends an extension of her family.

In addition to her parents, Jessica is survived by her loving sisters: Jackie and Julia Stevens, brother Charlie Stevens, grandparents Linda and Brian Pfnausch, great-grandmother Gloria Abbott and aunt and uncle Abbie and Paul Prevost, aunt and uncle Barbara and Jim Merrero, as well as countless cousins, extended relatives and friends. She was predeceased in death by her grandmother Vivian Stevens, aunt Gail Valibus and uncle, Peter Peltier.

A visitation will be held at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 S. Elm St., on Saturday, January 6th from 5-7 p.m. Services and interment will be private.
