Obituary: Joseph Francis Triano, 101, of Wallingford

Joseph Francis Triano, 101, formerly of Yalesville, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Masonicare Health Center. He was the loving husband of Phyllis (Russo) Triano for 75 years.
He was born in Bethany, December 29, 1916, a son of the late Francesco and Maria (Savo) Troiano. He worked on the family farm for many years and was employed by the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation until his retirement.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Margie Triano, Joseph Triano Jr. (MaryAnn), and Phyllis Stone (William). He also leaves behind his grandchildren MaryAnn, Jamie, Kim, Nikki and Will, and great grandchildren Melody, Jason, Taylor, Ben and Steven, as well as many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Michael, Anthony and Pasquale, and his sisters, Carol, Jean, Susan, Rae and Chancy.

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford, on Saturday, February 17, from 2 to 4 p.m. Gifts in his memory may be sent to Masonicare Hospice
