Obituary: Judith Mary Mays, 68, Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Judith Mary Mays, 68, of Wallingford, loving wife of Jeffrey M. Mays, passed away November 14, 2023 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.

Judy was born in Meriden on January 27, 2955, a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Bedus) Kwolek.

She graduated from New Hampshire college - Magna Cum Laude.

Judy worked in IT for AT&T and as an accountant for Hartford Healthcare, and Bristol Hospital.

She enjoyed working in the yard, relaxing on the beach, and enjoying a Margarita on the deck in the summer.

In addition to her husband, Jeffrey, she is survived by her sons, John Carabetta and his wife, Julie, of St. John, FL and Jason Carabetta of Jacksonville, FL; her sister, Joyce Reynolds of Wallingford; her brother, John Kwolek of Wallingford; and her grandson, Cooper Carabetta. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Kwolek.

A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext., Wallingford.
