Obituary: Kevin T. Gauntlett, 59, of Wallingford

Kevin T. Gauntlett, 59, of Wallingford, husband of Sally Young, passed away unexpectedly, October 7, 2017 at the home of his sister, Kim, in Meriden.

He was born in Meriden on April 21, 1958, the son of the late Harold and Eleanor Sweigart Gauntlett. He graduated from Lyman Hall High School in 1974 and worked for Cyanamid in Wallingford for 38 years.

Kevin was a big bear of a man with a gentle soul who loved his family, seaside escapes, golf, football, his red Christmas sweater and a good party.

In addition to his wife, Sally, he is survived by his daughters, Madison Hill of Waterbury and Olivia Gauntlett of Wallingford; his sisters, Susan Pagani of Largo, Florida and Kimberly Gauntlett of Meriden, 7 nieces and nephews and one grand nephew.
