Obituary: Kiley Ann Krause, 19, Of Wallingford
Kiley graduated with honors from Lyman Hall High School where she was captain of the Unified Sports Team, & mentored for numerous programs.

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Kiley Ann Krause, 19, of Wallingford, passed away December 22, 2021, from injuries suffered in a tragic car accident.
She was born in New Haven on August 31, 2002, a daughter of Kenneth and Kimberly (Rosa) Krause Jr. of Wallingford.
Kiley graduated with honors from Lyman Hall High School in 2020 where she was captain of the Unified Sports Team, and mentored for numerous programs such as Best Buddies and the Power Play Programs. In 2019, she participated as a unified partner in the Special Olympics summer games in the 1500M Unified Walk, and was invited to and attended the New England Student Leadership Conference. Kiley was honored with the 2018-2019 Mike Savage Exemplary Unified Teammate Award in recognition of outstanding dedication and sportsmanship.
She received a scholarship from Salve Regina University in Rhode Island for special education where she made the Dean’s list. She was working as a Behavioral Technician at BenHaven doing what she loved most which was helping special needs children and young adults, as well as working independently for a very special family which grew near and dear to her heart.
In addition to her parents, Kiley is survived by her brother, Kenneth J. Krause III of Wallingford; her uncle, Shawn Rosa and his fiancé, Nicole Guerette and their daughter, Lexi; her grandparents, William and Lena Adams, Kenneth and Jennifer Krause and Dennis and Julie Rosa. She was predeceased by her Grammy “DiDi.”

Kiley’s family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., on Sunday, January 2, 2021, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Face Masks are required. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Special Olympics website www.specialolympics.org in memory of Kiley Krause.
