Obituary: Linda Ann Flynn, 75, Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Linda Ann Flynn, 75, of Wallingford, loving wife of 49 years to James M. Flynn, passed away peacefully Feb. 10, 2023, at MidState Medical Center.

Linda was born in Hamden on July 15, 1947, a daughter of Daniel and Lucy Talevi.

Linda worked as a para-professional for the Wallingford Board of Education for more than 35 years. She loved visiting the casinos, was an avid fan of UConn Women’s Basketball, enjoyed word search and puzzles and especially loved being with her family.

In addition to her husband, James, she is survived by her daughter, Tracy Flynn of Meriden; her sons, James M. Flynn Jr. and Daniel Flynn, both of Wallingford; and her sister, Doreen Fredericks and her husband, Art of Wallingford.

Linda’s family would like to thank Dr. Lendino and Dr. Prunk and his team of ICU nurses at MidState Medical Center for the care and compassion they gave to Linda and her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023, directly at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Wallingford. There are no calling hours. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery in Wallingford.
