Obituary: Linda A. Correia, 74, Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Linda A. Correia, 74, of Wallingford, passed away June 23, 2023 at Cheshire Regional Rehabilitation Center in Cheshire.

Linda was born in Wallingford on February 24, 1949 a daughter of Doris (Liedke) Lobb of Wallingford and the late Edwin Lobb.

Linda worked as a home healthcare aide. She had a love for books and enjoyed reading, loved animals, especially her cats. She was an avid listener of music, especially Tom Petty & the Beatles and never missed watching the news and had a special admiration for Scott Haney channel 3!!!

In addition to her mother, Doris, she is survived by her sons, Justin Correia of Shelton and Kevin Correia of New London; her daughter-in-law, Tina Marie Correia; her grandson, Nathaniel T. Correia; and her lifelong childhood best friend, Adrianne Leone of Meriden. She was predeceased by her brother, Charles Lobb.

A graveside service in the In Memoriam Cemetery will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext., Wallingford.
