WALLINGFORD, CT — (From B.C. Bailey Funeral Home): Linda Marie (Nestor) Bianco, 63, of Wallingford, CT, peacefully departed this life surrounded by family on December 29, 2022. She is the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret (Ryan) Nestor.

Linda was born in Carmel, NY, and resided in Peekskill, NY for the majority of her childhood. Here she attended Walter Panis High School where she co-captained the flag twirling team. In addition, Linda gave much of her time volunteering in the community, specifically in places that sprouted her love for special education. From this point, Linda moved to Connecticut where she achieved her Bachelor and Master degrees in Special Education from Southern Connecticut State University.

Her devotion to her field was unmatched as she spent nearly 40 years at ACES Village School. Her occupation was her life’s work as she devoted all of her efforts to her classroom and dearly loved students. Later in her career, Linda continued to expand her horizons with teaching through a home educational program.

She was always happiest at the beach as she loved the sound of the ocean and the warmth of the sun.
