Obituary: Maria Ortencia Dominguez, 52, Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Maria Ortencia Dominguez, 52, of Wallingford, loving wife of Javier Dominguez, passed away peacefully, March 18, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

Maria was born in Michoacan, Mexico on January 20, 1971, a daughter of Daniel Avila and the late Maria Refugio.

Maria worked as a machine operator at Lee Manufacturing but in addition to her job at Lee’s, her other full-time job was being a loving and supportive mother and wife. She was very dedicated to her home and her children.

In addition to her husband, Javier, she is survived by her daughter, Brittany Dominguez and her son Javier Dominguez.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Thursday directly at Most Holy Trinity Church in Wallingford. Interment will be private in St. John Cemetery in Wallingford. Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext., Wallingford.
