Mark K. Bell, 62, of Wallingford, passed away October 17, 2018 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.
He was born in Meriden on May 28, 1956, a son of the late Kenneth and Maureen (Fitzgerald) Bell.

He owned and operated Bell Welding for many years. He loved camping, hiking, roller-blading, and traveling. He was a single parent who raised his daughter and is affectionately remembered by her as “Mr. Mom.”
He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Harris and her husband, David, of Wallingford; his brother, Gary Bell and his wife, Sally, of Meriden; his grandchildren, David and Christian Harris; his longtime companion, Kathleen Murdock; his step-children, Lori Stollard, Kendall Murdock, and Geoffrey Murdock; and his dog, Max.

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St., Ext., Wallingford Monday, October 22, 2018 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. His funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory can be made directly to the family.
