Mark P. Soderlund, 54, of Wallingford, passed away unexpectedly, January 7, 2017 at his home.
He was born in New Haven on April 3, 1962, a son of Joyce Thomas Soderlund of Wallingford and the late Edward H. Soderlund.

Mark served in the Navy for 4 years and later attended college earning his nursing degree. He was loved by all the patients he cared for which prompted numerous letters of appreciation from family members. He was known for his passion of working out at the gym and making people laugh with his story telling and witty personality. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Alyssa Pannone of Wallingford and Falon Fuqua of Meriden; his fiancée, Gina Spambanato of Wallingford; his siblings, Edward Soderlund and his wife Donna of Meriden, Sandra Soderlund of Wallingford, Karen Harvey and her husband Brian of Wallingford, Eric Soderlund of Wallingford, Joy Testa and her husband Andy of Durham, and many nieces and nephews.
