Obituary: Nancy J. Nicoll, 76, Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Nancy J. Nicoll, 76, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully at the Grimes Center in New Haven on September 10, 2022.

She was born in New Haven, December 18, 1945, a daughter of the late Charles and Mildred (Dwyer) Nicoll. Ms. Nicoll taught countless students over her long career as a teacher in the City of New Haven Public School System.

Nancy enjoyed traveling with her family and friends. Some of her fondest memories were spent with her friends at the beach, weekly luncheons, and spoiling her cats and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Jeff Woytowich of Wallingford; her granddaughters, Allison and Ashley Woytowich; her sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and Joseph Simeone of West Haven; her brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Nancy Nicoll of Milford; and many nieces and nephews.

Nancy’s family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford, on Thursday, Sept. 15, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Interment will be private. Gifts in her memory may be sent to: The Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut.
