Obituary: ​Nancy J. (Such) McKeon, 71, of Wallingford

Nancy J. (Such) McKeon, 71, of Wallingford, beloved wife of the late Kevin McKeon, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018, at her home.

She was born on February 17, 1947, a daughter of the late Anthony and Jennie (Leszcyk) Such and spent her childhood in Lowell, Massachusetts and in Hamden, Connecticut.

She worked as a supervisor for Mathog and Moniello Insurance Company in East Haven for many years until retiring. She loved quilting and crafting, her yearly trips to Myrtle Beach, and especially loved spending time with her granddaughter, Aishlyn.

Her family would like to thank the staff at Hartford Home Care Hospice and the staff at the Oncology Department at MidState Medical Center for the care and compassion they gave to Nancy and her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer A. Hurley and her husband Scott of Wallingford; her granddaughter, Aishlyn Hurley; her good friend, Peggy Merati; and her brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Tracy McKeon.

Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street, Ext., Wednesday, July 18, 2018, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. from The Wallingford Funeral Home, when the funeral cortege will proceed to St. Bridget of Sweden Parish in Cheshire, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery.
