Obituary: Nicholas E. DeMeo, 73, Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Nicholas E. DeMeo, 73, of Wallingford, died Friday, December 30, 2022, at MidState Medical Center.

He was born in Meriden, July 29, 1949, a son of the late Dominick and Catherine (Frail) DeMeo. He was a lifelong Wallingford resident and had been employed by the Wallingford Board of Education and previously by Circuitwise.

He was affectionately called “Nicky News” by his friends and enjoyed keeping his car spotless.

He is survived by his siblings, Bonnie Harrington and her husband Robert, Susan DeMeo, Sandra DeMeo, and Robert DeMeo, all of Wallingford. As well as his niece and nephew, Heather Hancort and her husband Justin, and Darrell Harrington and his wife Beth and their children Kaitlyn and Carter.

Inurnment in the Columbarium at St. John Cemetery in Wallingford will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home.
