Obituary: Richard E. Witkowski, 67, of Wallingford

Richard E. Witkowski, 67, of Wallingford, died Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Westfield Care with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Deborah (Janicke) Witkowski.

He was born in Wallingford, May 15, 1950, the son of the late Edward and Blanche Witkowski and had served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed being with family and friends, going on trips to Wildwood, Disney World, Caribbean cruises and also casinos. He was employed as a Mail Carrier in Wallingford. He enjoyed playing in his band 21st Century Express for many years and hosting many parties and picnics at their home.

He is survived by his son, Derek Witkowski and his Fiancée Kristy Bousquet; his sister, Geraldine Hartman; his sisters-in-law, Sharon and Roberta Janicke; niece Dawn Hartman; and nephew David Hartman.
