Obituary: Robert D. Hulsizer, 65; Formerly Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Robert D. Hulsizer, 65, of Hartford, died Saturday, December 24, 2022, at the West Haven Veterans’ Administration Hospital, after a long illness.

Robert was born on May 8, 1957, in Union, NJ, a son of the late Ralph E. and Bette (Milligan) Hulsizer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, attended Lyman Hall High School, and grew up in Wallingford.

He is survived by his three sisters, Karen Kovacofsky, Marlene Kennedy, and Beth Hulsizer. He was the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Asher Hulsizer and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Milligan, all of Plains, Penn. He is survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, devoted friends, and his little dog, Sky, who now has a new, loving home. He was sadly predeceased by his nephew, Frank Kovacofsky.

A private service will take place at the State Veterans’ Cemetery in Middletown, CT. Arrangements are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home.
