Obituary: Robert F. Gebhardt Jr., 71, Of Wallingford
A U.S. Navy veteran, he was a supervisor at American Metal Fabricators & later worked as Lead Maintainer for Heritage Village in Southbury.

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From North Haven Funeral Home): Robert F. Gebhardt Jr., 71, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022, at the MidState Medical Center, Meriden. He was the beloved husband of Albert L. Lombardi. Robert was born in Bethesda, Maryland on April 18, 1950, and was the oldest son of the late Robert F. Gebhardt Sr. and Margaret Ann Stazel Gebhardt.
He served his country faithfully in the U.S. Navy. Robert was a Supervisor at American Metal Fabricators in Prince Fredrick, MD and later had worked as Lead Maintainer for Heritage Village in Southbury. Robert enjoyed gardening, carpentry, cooking but most of all, spending time with his family who he loved unconditionally.
Father of Robert A. and William S. Gebhardt. Grandfather of Spencer S., Sonja F.M. and Aliveya L. Gebhardt. Brother of Maria Wilde, Sharon Hayes and Erich (Beth) Gebhardt. Loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews, a couple of which were as close as his own children.

A service will be conducted in The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, North Haven on Wednesday morning, Feb. 9 at 11 a.m. Family and friends may call one hour prior to time of service.
