Obituary: Ronald P. Lentine, 81, of Wallingford

Ronald P. Lentine, 81, of Wallingford, beloved husband of Claudia (Olschefski) Lentine of 53 years, died Monday, August 1, 2022.

Born in New Haven, May 17, 1941, a son of the late Anthony J. Lentine Sr. and Laura (Greenwood) Lentine he had been a lifelong Wallingford resident and was a US. Marine Corps. Veteran. He had been employed by the U.S. Postal Service and worked as a clerk in the Wallingford office. Ron was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order Elks, Wallingford Lodge 1365, and a parishioner of the Church of the Resurrection in Wallingford.

In addition to his wife Claudia, he is survived by his children, Jennifer Christopoulos and her husband Billy, Katherine Rhone and her husband Christopher, and Adam Lentine and his wife Chrissy; his grandchildren, Ryan and Emily Christopoulos, and Kellen and Camden Rhone; his sister-in-law, Eleanor Lentine; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Jeffrey P. Lentine and Anthony J. Lentine Jr.

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street, Ext., Wallingford, Wednesday, Aug. 3rd, from 4 to 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10am directly at the Church of the Resurrection. Interment will be private in St. John Cemetery in Wallingford.
