Obituary: Shirley Longley, 72, of Wallingford

Shirley Longley, 72, of Wallingford, departed this life on November 18, 2016 at the Masonic Healthcare Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Reginald Longley.

Shirley was born in Punxsutawney,PA on October 8, 1944 to [the late] William and Stella (Kennedy) Bowser.

She had previously been employed at the Masonic Healthcare Center.

Shirley is survived by her children William Longley (and Kathleen) of Southington, Philip Longley of Portland, Tina Miller (and Alfred) of Durham and Donald Longley (and Laura) Middlefield; her grandchildren: Tiffany, Amanda, James, Tyler, Jason, Kristren, Olivia, and Kyle; three great grandchildren; her brother William Bowser of Naugatuck; her sister Helen Chalue of Wallingford.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, November 21st from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm St., Wallingford. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the In Memoriam Cemetery.
