Obituary: Stanley A. Seadale, 94, of Wallingford
He retired from the Town of Wallingford 1993 where he served as Personnel Director. He was a member of the first Baptist Church.

Stanley A. Seadale, 94, of Wallingford, loving husband of the late Annette Seadale for 74 years, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2022 at Masonicare in Wallingford.
Stanley was born in Glen Cove, NY, on Sept. 27, 1927, a son of the late Axel and Ragnhild (Johansen) Seadale and was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. He retired from the Town of Wallingford 1993 where he served as Personnel Director. He was a member of the first Baptist Church of Wallingford, the Gideons International, the American Legion Post #73 of Wallingford and was a Past President of the Rotary Club of North Haven.

They were later married at the Church in the Wildwood on Sackett Point Road in North Haven. They lived in Levittown, Long Island, Milford, Sarasota Florida, North Haven, and later settled in Wallingford, where they lived for 30 years. They enjoyed traveling and spending their winters in Bradenton, FL for many years.
He is survived by his sons, Carl Seadale and his wife, Nancy, of Barrington, RI, and Eric Seadale and his wife, Kim, of Meriden; his daughter, Karen Tarducci and her husband, Ernest, of Meriden; his grandchildren, Ernie Tarducci Jr, Michelle Towner (Corey), Matt Seadale (Capi), Michaela Moriarty (Mike), Lars Seadale (Brian) and Nick Seadale (Hayley); his great grandchildren, Tyler, Jayden and Colton Tarducci; Brett, Ethan and Julianna Towner; Morgane, Julien, Charlie and Benji Seadale; Eleanor and Nathaniel Moriarty; his siblings, Gilbert Seadale (Linda), Lorraine Reimer (Gordon) and Richard Seadale (Susan); and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Ethel Jacques (Clem) and Ruth Ohler (Gunther); and his infant granddaughter, Alexis Seadale.

Stanley’s family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., on Wednesday, Aug 10th, from 10:30am to 11:30am. A funeral service will follow at 11:30am in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will be in the State Veterans’ Cemetery in Middletown.
