Stefan Orzel, 63, of Wallingford, loving husband of Elizabeth (Kroczek) Orzel, passed away peacefully, Sunday, April 7, 2019 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.
Stefan was born in Ujanowice, Poland, April 9, 1955, a son of the late Jozef Orzel and Anna (Pajor) Orzel and had been a Wallingford resident for many years. He had been employed as an auto mechanic until his retirement and was a parishioner of St. Faustina Parish, St. Stanislaus Church in Meriden.

In addition to his wife Elizabeth, he is survived by his 3 children Edyta Orzel of Wallingford, Jacob Orzel of Meriden, and Martin Orzel and his wife Marta of Warsaw, Poland; his brothers and sisters Zofia Pajor of Sechna, Poland, Michal Orzel and his wife Maria of Ujanowice, Poland, Stanislawa Baran and her husband Adam and Jozef Orzel all of Januszowa, Poland; and many nieces and nephews.
His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. Interment will be held in Poland.
