Obituary: Susan Carole (Dalton) Chipokas, 59, of Wallingford
Susan had been voted Paraprofessional of the Year in the Wallingford School System and loved her Moses Y. Beach family.

Susan Carole (Dalton) Chipokas, 59, of Wallingford, died Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Yale New Haven Hospital after a courageous battle. She was the loving wife of Charles Chipokas.
She was born in New Haven, December 5, 1957, a daughter of Carole A. (McHugh) Dalton of Northford, and the late James E. Dalton. Susan was employed as a Paraprofessional at Moses Y. Beach School in Wallingford and had served as past President of the Paraprofessional’s Union. Susan had been voted Paraprofessional of the Year in the Wallingford School System and loved her Moses Y. Beach family. She brightened the lives of so many children. Susan was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend who loved spending time with her family. Susan had a beautiful and strong spirit. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Charly Cara Chipokas. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her son who was the light of her life, Matthew Chipokas of Wallingford; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Patrice and Jeffrey Goss of New Hampshire, and Allison and Joseph Maselli of Northford; her aunt and uncle, Patty and Edward Usarzewicz of West Haven; and her nieces and nephew, Megan, Christian, Alexandria, Danica and Brogan.
