Obituary: Susan Carter Julian, 78, Of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Susan Carter Julian, 78, of Wallingford, wife of the late Max G. Carter, MD, and the late John “Jack” Julian, passed away April 25, 2023, at Connecticut Hospice after a brief illness.

She was born in Oceanside, CA on January 26th, 1945, and was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Eileen (Lynch) Granito. Graduate of Lyman Hall High School, St. Raphael’s School of Nursing and subsequently earned a BS-RN from SCSU.

Susan always said, “I have had a wonderful life.” Those who loved her as a sister, an aunt, or as a friend knew she was a special lady who lived her life in gracious and kind service to others.

All funeral services are private and are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext., Wallingford.
