Obituary: Timothy A. Cain, 62, Of Wallingford
Before his passing, he could be seen all around Wallingford. He loved to be outside and travel to different parts of the town.

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Timothy A. Cain, 62, of Wallingford, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 19, 2022.
He was born in New Haven on May 19, 1960, the son of Janet (Melillo) Cain-Sittnick of Wallingford and the late Grover W. Cain. In addition, he is survived by his sons, Austin and Timothy Cain of Wallingford and his dear friend, Jean Drummond, the mother of his children, siblings Michael Cain, William Cain, and Pamela Cremo (Jim). He was the Uncle to Cale Cain, Ashley Ruotolo (Michael), Christine Cain, James Cremo (Melissa), Amanda Patry (Tim), and the late Billy Cain Jr. He also had the honor of being the Great Uncle to Marlee Ruotolo, Will and Katlin Cain, Kaleb Gossiaux, Ellie and Parker Cremo, and Oliver and Daxton Patry.
As a kid he loved to crab and fish in Branford with his family. Tim had many talents and, unbeknownst to most, he was a great singer and artist. He was an amazing mechanic and loved to tinker with cars. When younger, he rebuilt a 1965 Oldsmobile Starfire with a 425 hp engine with his brother Michael.

He had various jobs throughout his life, but started his career as a master extruder at Times Fiber Communications, Inc., where he worked for many years and later drove a lumber truck. Due to health issues, he would later retire.
He loved talking about the mysteries of the universe, cars, aliens, time travel and the beyond. Before his passing, he could be seen all around Wallingford. He loved to be outside and travel to different parts of the town. He was very friendly and would go out of his way to spark a conversation with anyone. He loved being with his family and made sure to call as often as possible.

His greatest joy was spending time with his two sons. He was a great father and wished only the best for his two children. He will be missed dearly and thought about daily by everyone from his closest of family to his farthest of friends.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Center Street Cemetery, 1 Center Street, Wallingford, CT at 11 am.
