Obituary: William J. Rousome, 62, Of Wallingford
Bill was truly a family man. He was loyal to a fault, to his friends, and he had a great sense of humor. He loved life and loved to cook.

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From West Haven Funeral Home): William J. Rousome, 62, of Wallingford, passed away peacefully at home on November 5, 2022.
For over 37 years, he was the loving husband of Donna D’Amato Rousome. William was born in New Haven, son of the late William and Angela Sammartino Rousome.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister MaryAnn Durmark and her husband Michael, his nieces Melissa Dumark and Morgan Dumark McNamee (who is also his goddaughter) and her husband Scott, his great nephew Flynn Leighton, his niece Danielle LoRusso, who was like a daughter to Bill, his sister-in-law Anna Quigley and her husband Tom. Bill was also predeceased his in-laws Pat and Joan D’Amato.

For many years he worked inside sales for F.W. Webb.
Bill was truly a family man. He was loyal to a fault, to his friends, and he had a great sense of humor. He loved life and loved to cook. His favorite thing was taking his wife on long scenic rides throughout the countryside, listening to music, and feeling the sun and wind as he rode his Road King.

He was a very brave, strong, and courageous man. He was a great brother, husband, son-in-law, and uncle, who was always there for his family and friend who needed him.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 10 a.m. in St. Lawrence Church. Interment will private.
