Owner of Neptune House Property Plans to Split Building, Add Extra Space
The new space could turn into a restaurant and an additional store.

The commercial property agency that bought the former Neptune House building plans to add a 25,000 square foot addition as well split the building into two separate spaces.
Lorraine Targalia, agent of Monroe-based Tartaglia Commercial Properties, told Wallingford Patch the business has plans to partition the space of 1086 North Colony Road to accommodate a restaurant and an adjacent store.
She said they also have plans to add the additional space, bringing the total square footage of the property to 75,000.
This would all have to go through the appropriate land use processes, however, before any businesses can occupy the building.
Tartaglia declined to say what tenant she may have for the building although that news could come later.
Neptune House closed in early April after nearly 30 years in business. The owners sold the property to Tartaglia for $1.25 million late last month.
