Police To Host Bike Safety Day In Wallingford
Residents can bring their bikes to be inspected by police and registered in case it's stolen. There will also be a bike course for kids.
WALLINGFORD, CT — The Wallingford Police Department will host Bike Safety Day from 12 noon to 3 p.m. at Community Lake Park at 291 Hall Avenue on May 7.
“Bring your bikes to be inspected by a member of the Wallingford Police Department Bike Unit and have your bikes registered and etched with a special number for future identification in case your bike is stolen and recovered,” police wrote in a news release. “Wallingford Youth and Social Services will also be there with a bike course for the kids to test their skills! And then why not take a ride on the trail!
