Police Search for Missing 72-Year-Old Wallingford Man: UPDATE

WALLINGFORD, CT — In a 12:30 a.m. update, Wallingford Police said that Richard Musso, 72, has been located in Durham and was taken to an area hospital for evaluation.

“The Wallingford Police Department received a report (on Nov. 28) that 72-year-old Richard Musso was missing. Officers from this agency worked tirelessly to try to locate him,” Lt. John Ventura said in a press release. “Shortly before midnight on the 28th of November, Richard Musso was located in Durham. He was taken to an area hospital for evaluation. The Wallingford Police Department appreciates everyone's assistance in locating Mr. Musso.”

WALLINGFORD, CT — A Silver Alert has been issued for Richard Musso, 72, who was reported missing from Wallingford on Monday, Nov. 28. Wallingford Police were actively searching for Musso in the Durham area late Monday night, according to a press release.

Musso is described as a white male with brown hair, brown eyes and a mustache. He is 5-feet, 8-inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a crew neck shirt and black jacket.

Musso was last seen operating his brown Fiat 500 bearing CT registration 825EDE in the vicinity of Dunkin Donuts located 38 Main Street in Durham at around 11 a.m., according to police. Musso's wife reported him missing around 6:40 p.m., according to police.

Cell phone pings of Musso’s phone indicate that he may still be in the Durham area. Several Wallingford Police officers were actively searching Durham for Musso and or his vehicle as of 11:30 p.m., Lt. Richard Homestead said in a press release.
