Popular Bakery Moving To New Home In Wallingford

The bakery is closing its original store after 17 years in business.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A popular bakery is relocating to a new home in Wallingford.

Elizabeth’s Bakery announced Wednesday that it is moving from its William Street location to 824 East Center Street, the former home of Keri's Sweet Creations, in October.

“We are coming to a bittersweet end after 17 years at our 13 William St location and we are moving to E Center St on October 1st,” the owners wrote in a post on Facebook. “We are very excited to start this new journey!”

Keri’s Sweet Creations, which was known for its sweet treats and custom cakes, officially closed on June 30 after five years in business.

Elizabeth’s Bakery is a family-owned business that “prides themselves on building on their trade while keeping their product current and exciting,” according to a post on its website.

“What makes Elizabeth’s unique is that we are able to provide you with your favorite dessert no matter where you’re from in the world,” the post reads. “Their global selection takes your taste buds on a trip around the world all before your morning coffee!”

The bakery offers a variety of breads, cakes, pastries, and more.

“Our bakery, in a nutshell, is ‘a little bit of everything,’” the website states. “We work closely with our customers to create beautiful masterpieces that bring complete satisfaction. Whether it’s for a large group or just a craving for yourself, we’ve got you covered.”
