Puppy Stolen From Pet Store In Wallingford: Police
Police are trying to find the stolen puppy and are asking for help with identifying the suspect.
WALLINGFORD, CT — Police are asking for help with identifying a man accused of stealing a puppy from a pet store in Wallingford last month.
Police are also trying to find the puppy, which was stolen from All Pets Club on North Colony Road on Aug. 29.
Police recently reviewed surveillance video with the store’s general manager and saw a man (pictured) ducking his head while he bypassed store cameras around 3:20 p.m. on Aug. 29.

“The suspect then went in the back area where the dogs are and hid in the bathroom,” Officer Alex Torres wrote in a news release. “The suspect poked his head out of the bathroom and from the closest pen of dogs, took a Silky Terrier and placed it under his shirt. The suspect once again ducked his head as he walked straight out of the store.”
The Silky Terrier is valued at $3,600, according to Torres.
