Pure Alchemy Juice Bar Opening in Wallingford

Pure Alchemy Bar Café will open its doors in Wallingford, offering whole food smoothies, salads and desserts created to “pleasure the taste buds.”

The new café, which is located at 236 North Colony Road, aims to inspire and educate people about decadent ways to satisfy the appetite while promoting health and vitality.

On Saturday, June 27, the café opens its doors and begins serving its signature superfood smoothies, juices, elixirs, salads, and desserts.

The grand opening celebration will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Events will include free samples, raffles, giveaways, and a contest to name a juice.

Menu items with names like Mystic Guardian, the Iron Man, Thai One On, and The Anarchist will no doubt intrigue you, but it’s the flavors that will amaze you.

The made-fresh daily fare is primarily raw, vegan and uses organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs. The yummy—and good for you—get’s even better with owner Colleen Behan’s decadent raw desserts and chocolates.

Finally, even the most hard-core sweet tooth can be satisfied by desserts and pies prepared without the use of processed sugar.

“We sweeten with dates or raw honey, to show people you don’t have to miss out if you ditch the sugar,” she said.

Showing people the heights of delicious they can achieve with raw and whole foods is what Alchemy is all about.

The Alchemy team is committed to introducing people to the wonders of whole foods in a relaxed, fun and inspiring atmosphere.

Throughout the year, Alchemy Juice Bar Café will offer food tastings, demonstrations and educational seminars on a variety of healthy lifestyle topics.

Alchemy Juice Bar Café is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sundays. It is closed on Mondays.
