WALLINGFORD, CT — The newly remodeled “Next Gen” Dunkin’ at 694 North Colony Road in Wallingford is celebrating the grand reopening of the store on Tuesday.

The grand reopening celebration will take place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Sept. 14 and will feature giveaways and an official ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Wallingford community, according to a post on Facebook.

The first 100 guests can win “free coffee for a year,” starting at 9 a.m., according to the Facebook post. There will also be Dunkin’ swag giveaways, a check presentation to the Wallingford Family YMCA at 10 a.m. and a special appearance from the Dunkin’ mascot, Cuppy.

For the “Free Coffee For A Year Giveaway” recipients receive a “coupon book containing 4 free medium hot or iced coffee coupons per month for 14 months good only at the location where the coupon book was issued,” officials wrote in the post on Facebook.

No purchase is necessary and it is open to Wallingford residents 18 and older and while supplies last. Official rules are available upon request at the store at 694 North Colony Road in Wallingford.
