Report: Complaint Filed Over Nazi, Confederate Items Sold at Wallingford Flea Market
A man, who is Jewish, notified police after saying some of the merchandise almost made him sick.

A Jewish man filed a complaint to Wallingford police after discovering that a popular flea market in town was selling Nazi and Confederate memorabilia, according to the Meriden-Record Journal.
The Record-Journal reports police responded to the Redwood Flea Market on South Turnpike Road Sunday to investigate the report but the officer ultimately determined that there was nothing they could do because the merchandise was on private property and not criminally illegal.
The complaintant told the Record-Journal the Nazi merchandise almost made him sick and that there were also Confederate items that weren’t authentic Civil War weapons or flags, but cheap copies, while accusing the flea market’s owner of selling “hatred for just $1.”
