Restaurant Owner Accused Of Sexual Assault: Wallingford Police

The owner of two popular restaurants in Wallingford was arrested this week, according to a report.

WALLINGFORD, CT — The owner of two popular downtown restaurants in Wallingford is accused of inappropriately touching a male juvenile on two occasions in July, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.

The Record-Journal reports Christian Rao, 54, who owns Café Ra and J. Christian’s, was arrested earlier this week on two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault. The juvenile is known to Rao, according to the Record-Journal.
