Road Closure Announced For Halloween Event In Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — Due to a children's Halloween event sponsored by the town's Parks and Recreation Department, Wallingford Police have announced the following road closure and parking ban that will be in effect for all vehicular traffic on Friday, Oct. 25:
Road Closure as follows:
South Main Street will be closed to all motor vehicle traffic between the intersection of Center Street, and the intersection of Prince Street, on Oct. 25 between 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Parking prohibitions:
In anticipation of the road closure, there will be no parking on South Main Street between Center Street and Prince Street for the duration of the event. Police remind residents that vehicles parked in violation of this prohibition will be subject to the issuance of a parking ticket by police and removal by tow truck.

The Goblin Gazette - Halloween Parade:
The parade will be held in front of Town Hall beginning at 6:45 p.m. Children are encouraged to come in costume. There will be a mini-parade, free cider donuts, cider, pre-bagged candy, music and make-it, take-it crafts. For more information, call 203-294-2120.
