Road Closure Announced In Wallingford

A portion of the road will be closed for several weeks for a sewer main replacement project, according to police.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A portion of Durham Road in Wallingford is expected to be closed for several weeks for a sewer main replacement project, according to police.

Durham Road will be closed between East Main Street and Cheryl Avenue from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for the project, according to police.

Police said the closure will begin Tuesday, Aug. 31 and is expected to last through Sept. 24.

From east: left onto Cheryl Avenue, right onto Cooper Avenue, right onto Westview Drive, right onto East Main Street.

From west: East Main Street., left onto Westview Drive, right onto Cooper Avenue, right onto Durham Road.
