Road Closure, Detour Announced In Wallingford
Police are advising motorists of a road closure that will be in effect in Wallingford.
WALLINGFORD, CT — Police are advising residents of a road closure that will be in effect starting Monday, March 30, in Wallingford.
Police said starting March 30 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with “operations continuing over the next several months as part of a gas pipeline enhancement project in Wallingford.”
The work will be done in the areas of Washington Street, Parker Street, and Silk Street.

Washington Street will be closed between Silk Street and Parker Street, according to police.

- Officers will be on-site to assist motorists at impacted intersections
- Clearly marked detours and warning signs throughout the area
- Assistance with school bus traffic during construction hours
