Road Closure, Parking Bans Announced For Summer Stroll In Wallingford
The event will include activities, vending, and food trucks.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Police are advising motorists of a road closure and parking bans that will be in effect for a “Summer Stroll” event on Friday, July 26.
Wallingford Center Inc., in conjunction with Wallingford Uptown and Downtown Merchants, will host the summer sidewalk sale event from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 26.
The event will include activities, vending, and food trucks at Johanna Manfreda Fishbein Park (the Gazebo/green).

According to police, Hall Avenue will be closed to all motor vehicle traffic west of its intersection with North Colony Road and east of the railroad crossing starting at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 26. Parking will be prohibited in this section of Hall Avenue starting at 3 p.m.
The parking prohibitions and road closure will remain in effect until approximately 9 p.m.

“Please be reminded that vehicles parked in violation of this prohibition will be subject to the issuance of a parking ticket by police and removal by tow truck,” police said.
