Road Closures Announced For Seasons Of Celebration In Wallingford

Police announce road closures and parking prohibitions that will be in effect for the Seasons of Celebration event in Wallingford.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Wallingford Police announce several road closures and parking prohibitions that will be in effect for all vehicular traffic during the Seasons of Celebration event, which includes the Frosty Parade and Tree Lighting ceremony, on Saturday, Dec. 4.

Road closures are as follows:

South Main Street, between the intersection of Center Street and Prince Street will be closed to all motor vehicle traffic starting at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4.

Center Street, between the intersection of Main Street and Colony Road will be closed to all motor vehicle traffic starting at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4. This will be a short-term closure, lasting approximately one hour.

Hall Avenue, between the intersection of North Colony Road and the railroad crossing will be closed between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Parking prohibitions:

There will be no parking on South Main Street between Center Street and Prince Street starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4.

There will be no parking Hall Avenue between the intersection of North Colony Road and the railroad crossing starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4.

Police remind motorists that vehicles parked in violation of this prohibition will be subject to the issuance of a parking ticket by police and removal by tow truck.
