Sheehan Senior Shatters State Football Records
Zach Davis enjoyed a record-setting night last Friday, setting new state marks for rushing touchdowns and yards in a game.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Sheehan senior Zach Davis shattered the state record book Friday night, setting new marks for rushing yards and touchdowns in a game in the Titans’ 66-20 victory over Jonathan Law.
Davis eclipsed Montville’s Jeremiah Crowley’s single-game rushing mark by finishing with 541 rushing yards against the Lawmen. Crowley collected 526 yards in a game against Stonington in 2013, according to GameTimeCT.com.
Davis also ran for 10 touchdowns, topping the previous mark of nine set by Torrington’s Brenden Lytton against Wilby in 2010, according to GameTimeCT.
