A staff member of the 2026 NHL champion Carolina Hurricanes brought the Stanley Cup to Wallingford.

WALLINGFORD, CT — The Stanley Cup made a visit to Wallingford on Tuesday.

A staff member of the 2026 NHL champion Carolina Hurricanes brought the Stanley Cup to fire headquarters “for all to see,” according to a post on the Town of Wallingford Fire Department’s Facebook page.

The Stanley Cup was in Milford earlier this summer when Hurricanes defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere brought it to Dockside Brewery in July.
