State Funding Approved For Wallingford Housing Authority
A grant was approved to the Wallingford Housing Authority for renovations and improvements of the McGuire Court.

State Rep. Mary Mushinsky (D-Wallingford) hailed the state Bond Commission’s approval today of a grant that will help with improvements to a housing facility in Wallingford.
A grant in the amount of $3,662,127 was approved to the Wallingford Housing Authority for renovations and improvements of the McGuire Court elderly housing property.
Rep. Mushinsky said, “The funds allocated to the McGuire Court elderly housing facility are critical as we focus on ensuring a safe and healthy environment for its residents. I am grateful to the Bond Commission for prioritizing this investment and look forward to seeing the planned improvements as the project moves forward.”

The McGuire Court is a public housing rental facility that offers housing for low income older adults and adults who have disabilities.
Mushinsky is a member of the Bonding Subcommittee and the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee.
