Teen, 19, Charged In Burglary Of 4 Businesses In Wallingford: Police
Police said the 19-year-old, and others who remain at-large, targeted ATMs and vehicles during the burglaries.
WALLINGFORD, CT — A 19-year-old has been arrested in connection with the burglary of four businesses in Wallingford earlier this year, according to police.
The burglaries took place at Rivas Taqueria on March 7, George Harte Infiniti on March 16 and June 28, and Empire Wine and Liquor on May 20, according to Officer Alex Torres.
During the burglaries, Torres said Collin Howard and his associates targeted ATMs and motor vehicles.

“After a lengthy investigation conducted with the assistance of multiple State and Federal agencies, including the North Haven Police Department and the Waterbury Police Department,” Torres wrote in a news release. “Detectives linked Howard to these incidents through multiple search warrants, cell tower records, witness statements, and surveillance video.”
Howard was arrested Sept. 22 and charged with four counts of third-degree burglary, two counts of theft of a motor vehicle, four counts of third-degree criminal mischief and multiple larceny related offenses, according to Torres.

Torres said Howard is incarcerated at Manson Youth Institution and was being held in lieu of a $450,000 bond.
The other suspects remain at large, according to Torres.
