Turkeys in Wallingford

Turkeys Galore - August 29, 2017 -- I love animals and I take pictures when I can. There is farm like piece of property on Main St. in Wallingford that always had a few cows. Sometimes there would be 3 or 4 cows maybe a baby cow at times. I don't know if the owners bred cows or sold them but the babies never stayed too long. I have not seen any cows there in over a month. I did see a lot of digging on the property and machines. Maybe the place was sold I don't know.

Today when I went by I saw lots of turkeys. I got so excited I had to turn back and go take some pictures outside a wire fence that surrounds the property. There were about 7 big dark turkeys with grayish/white heads and necks. They had their heads down a lot and were pretty much together eating grass or whatever turkeys eat and walking together as a group. So cute and funny to see.

Nice too see a new group in the neighborhood.
