Two Utility Workers Electrocuted While Working in Wallingford: Report

Emergency crews received reports of two workers being injured.

WALLINGFORD, CT – Two utility workers were electrocuted Friday afternoon on Highland Avenue, the Meriden Record-Journal reports.

Emergency crews initially received reports of one worker being electrocuted while working on transmission lines, according to the Record-Journal. A second worker was later reported as injured with burns to his face.

Both were taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital for treatment, according to the Record-Journal.
