Vandals Cover Wallingford Playground In Vulgar Messages
Police received a call Monday afternoon reporting vandalism at a Wallingford park, according to a report.
WALLINGFORD, CT — A Wallingford playground was vandalized earlier this week when someone covered the playscape at Grand Street Park in vulgar messages written in permanent marker, according to WTNH News-8.
Town staff said they hope to clean up the vandalism soon. Parks and Rec officials said they're seeing more vandalism done with markers than spray paint.
Vandals also wrote on a wall outside a business near the playground.
